Chimichurri Recipe – Using Up Those Extra Greens

Do you have some left over herbs in the fridge? This chimichurri recipe is the perfect solution! Use up those greens and enjoy a delicious condiment – talk about a win-win.

Chimichurri hails from South America and is believed to have originated in Argentina. The name ‘chimichurri’ is thought to originate from the Basque term tximitxurri which roughly translates to “a mixture of several things in no particular order”.

This is a must-try in every kitchen and can be used in a few ways – as a sauce, a marinade, or a condiment. It is similar to pesto but opts for parsley and coriander, instead of basil.
